Mr. Zide Locklea r, age 82, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 3pm at Benson Chapel Baptist Church with Revs. Johnny Locklear, Thurman Scott and Timmy Hunt Officiating.

Burial will follow in Benson Chapel Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mr. Zide was born August 2, 1928 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Oxendine Locklear; a grandson, Erick Locklear; a great-grandson, Justin Richardson; five brothers, Richard, Danny, Eugene, Luther, and Riley Locklear; two sisters, Molly Locklear and Patty Freeman.

He is survived by two sons, Ronnie and Bobby Locklear both of the home; three daughters, Diane Locklear and husband Merril, and Judy Stanley all of Rowland, and Sylvia Locklear of the home; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; special friends, Kristi Andrews, April Hunt, James "Jug Head" Clark, and Horace "Midget" Owens.
