Zelma Rogers Hunt, age 80, of Fairmont, NC passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. Ms. Hunt was born February 5, 1943 in Robeson County to the late Hennard Rogers, Sr. and the late Louise Hunt Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Rogers, Henry Rogers, and Earl Rogers; three sisters, Barbara Fields, Geraline Hammonds, and Edith Norton.

She is survived by three brothers, Hennard "Snag" Rogers Jr. of Fairmont, NC, Thaddues Rogers of Red Springs, NC, and Timmy Hunt of Myrtle Beach, SC; and four sisters: Clementine Norton of Fayetteville, NC, Atelia Floyd of Lumberton, NC, Patricia Lippard of Detroit, MI, and Theadus Stallings of Wilson, NC.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00PM. Burial will follow in New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.
