Mr. Zeb Oxendine age 83 of Rowland, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 4:00PM at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Howard Jacobs and Crafton Chavis.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00PM until 4:00PM prior to the service at Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Entombment will be private.

Mr. Oxendine was born February 28, 1933 in Robeson County. He was a US Army Veteran and a retired farmer. He also retired as a Prison Guard.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Eula Gregson and his mother Mandy Stewart; one sister, Sarah Lowery.

He is survived by his wife Margie Lee Oxendine of the home; four sons, Roger Oxendine (Bobbie Ann), Ricky Oxendine, Rex Oxendine (Telnnillia); an adopted son Larry Sampson (Roslyn), all of Rowland; two daughters, Renae Hunt (David), and Reginia Mitchell (Ted), all of Rowland; three sisters, Lillian Greer of Fayetteville, Sarah Jane Jacobs of Fairmont, and Shirley G. Hamilton of Hawaii; a special niece, Rosa Dawn Locklear; a special caregiver, Dollie Hunt; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to Southeastern Hospice House 1100 Pine Run Dr. Lumberton, NC 28358.
