Mrs. Yvonne Brice Bracey McMahan, age 83, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC on March 17, 1932 to the late Willis M. and Dora Baam Brice, Sr. She was a graduate of Flora MacDonald College and earned her master's degree from Duke University. She was then employed as a school teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County for many years. She was also preceded in death by her former husbands: A.C. Bracey, Herbert Hassell, and Lyndol McMahan; and by one brother, Willis Brice, Jr. She is survived by one sister, Kathleen Weber of New York; special friends: Ed & Jeannie Wilcox and Elizabeth McIntosh; two nieces; and one nephew. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, with Rev. Ed Wilcox officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
