Ms. Yetta Watson, age 79 of Fairmont, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Jackie Spillers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00 until 2:00PM.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial cemetery.

Born November 17, 1936 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Rhodes and Dora Barnes Rhodes; her husband, Stacy Watson and a son, David Michael Strickland.

She was the manager for the Jones Discount Stores for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Horace Strickland of Dublin and friend Barbara of Dublin and Ronnie Strickland of the home and friend Michelle of Fairmont; one daughter, Linda Kay Locklear and husband Harold of Lumberton; one sister, Dora Lee Britt of Lumberton and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Carolyn Flantos.
