Mr. Worth Hunt, age 76, of 3215 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Lumberton, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born in Robeson County and worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by wife, Mary Hunt of the home; three brothers, Namond Chavis of High Point, NC, J.P. Chavis of High Point, NC, Thurman Chavis of Conway, SC; four sisters, Zennie Mae Jackheal of Baltimore, MD, Isabelle Bogan of Greensboro, NC, Julie Davis of Thomasville, NC, and Rose Chavis of High Point, NC; a special family member, Shirley Locklear of Lumberton; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 7:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton. The preachers that will be officiating at Rev. Teddy Jacobs and Rev. Hilton Woodell. Burial will be Monday morning at 11:00AM at New Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.
