Wilma Moore Edwards,82, of 2403 Riverwood Ave., died Saturday, January 24, 2009
at her residence. She was born to the late Benjamin Franklin and Martha Missouri
Castleberry Moore on September 24, 1926 in Plant City, FL.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston Holmes Edwards; and her
brother, Benjamin F. Moore Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Holmes Edwards and wife, Sue of Fairmont,
NC, Charles Montgomery Edwards and wife, Vickie of Lumberton and Preston Nicholas
Edwards and wife, Delores of Winfield, AL; her daughter, Marsha Edwards Hendren of
Proctorville, NC; her sister-in-law, Loleta N. Boney of Lumberton; seven grandchildren;
and four great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Meadowbrook Cemetery at
2:00 P.M. with Dr. David Elks officiating.
The family will receive friends following the services at the home, 2403 Riverwood
Ave, Lumberton, NC 28358.
