Mr. Willie "Bill" Edward Sweat, age 72, of Fairmont passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00PM at McDonald Church of God, Hwy. 130 East Fairmont.

Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 7-9pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born January 27, 1945 in Robeson County to the late Chuck Boldenhouse and Ethel Sweat.

He is survived by his wife, Corless Hunt Sweat of the home; three sons, Brian Sweat of Fairmont, Jeremy Sweat and Devinn Sweat both of the home; three daughters, Terri Sweat of Fairmont, Joy Campbell of Red Springs and Courtney Paige and husband Chris of Lumberton; a special son-in-law, Thomas Campbell of Pembroke; one sister, Genvea Hunt of Rowland; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
