Mr. Willie Rouse, age 94, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 1, 1928, to the late Isham Rouse and the late Pearl Warwick Rouse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Rouse; his son, Billy Wayne Rouse; his daughter, Debbie Dooley; a brother, Lacy Rouse; and four sisters: Pauline Smith, Elsie Smith, Eva Williamson, and Bessie Walters.

He is survived by his two sisters, Ida Scott (Alton) and Elois Surles; his grandchildren: David Rouse (Dee Dee), Angie Rouse, Lynn Davis (Kenny), Karen Rouse, and Brittany Martin; his great-grandchildren: Marshall, Casey, Colin, and Charles "CJ"; and his sister-in-law, Brenda Rouse.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. John Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
