Mr. Willie "Pete" Kinlaw, age 76, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on August 6, 1938 to the late Edward Kinlaw and the late Juanita Kinlaw. Mr. Kinlaw is survived by his wife, Ella "Dean" Kinlaw, of the home; two sons, Darryl Kinlaw of Lumberton and Stephen Kinlaw (Geannie) of Cary; one daughters, Carol Dadson (Scott) of Beaufort, SC; two brothers, Craven Kinlaw of Bladenboro and Billy Wayne Kinlaw of Clarkton; one sister, Nita Butt (John) of Hope Mills and seven grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Lumberton with Dr. David Elks officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
