William \\"Bill\\" Wilkins, age 91, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born on February 20, 1918 in Robeson County, NC to Frank Wilkins and Daisy Vendricks Wilkins. He previously worked as a mechanic.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Wilkins and Craig Wilkins of Lumberton, NC; three daughters, Betsy Dowless of Lumberton, NC, Mary Jordan of Holden Beach, NC and Nancy Eliades of Fairfax, VA; one brother, David Wilkins of Lumberton, NC; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. David Holloway officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the memorial service from 2:00-3:00 PM and other times as the home of Billy Wilkins, 504 W. 29th Street in Lumberton.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Godwin Heights Baptist Church in Lumberton.
