William Gillespie Warwick, Jr., age 87, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.  He was born in Lumberton, NC  on September 12, 1929 to the late William Gillespie and Lena Elsie Norton Warwick, Sr.  He was previously employed at Duke Energy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Myrlene Britt Warwick.

Mr. Warwick is survived by his sons, William Carlton Warwick, Charles Quinn Warwick, and Gary Lynn Warwick; a daughter, Mary Lois Overman: six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow the service in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
