William Vann Ivey, 72, of Orrum, NC passed away on April 7, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

He was born on October 20, 1952, son of William Harold Ivey and Miriam Page Ivey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner, Joann Bullard.

Vann had the gift of gab-never seemed to meet a stranger. His life was shortened due to liver cancer, but he never let it change his positive attitude or his will to live.

He is survived by a daughter, Caroline Ivey (Rocky) of Franklin, TN; a sister, Dana Ivey Crosby (Jim) of Longs, SC; two nephews, Cody Powell (Jaime) of Leland, NC and Cameron Powell (Taylor) of Wilmington, NC and several other aunts and cousin, and friends.

A celebration of Life/Memorial will be held with family and friends.
