William Guy Prevatte, 72, of 802 East 7th Street, Lumberton, NC died Monday, March 9, 2009. He was born to the late Raymond Prevatte and Fannie Scott on May 6, 1936 in Robeson County, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Jeral \\"Jerry\\" Prevatte of the home; two sons, Christopher Prevatte and wife, Andrea of Lumberton, NC and David Suggs, Jr. of Bayboro, NC; one daughter Katrina Suggs and fiancee\\chr(39) Greg McKenzie of Fairmont, NC; and two grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with the Reverend Joe Bounds officiating. Visitation will follow the services at the cemetery.
