Mr. William James Ledwell, 60, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 17, 1961 to the late Corbet James Ledwell and the late Mamie Chavis Ledwell.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Chavis and Michael Ledwell.

He is survived by his siblings: David Chavis (Carol), Timmy Ledwell, and George Chavis (Carol), all of Lumberton, NC, and Amy Ledwell of Moncks Corner, SC; and his special friend, Linda Reynolds of the home.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sanford Chavis officiating. Burial will follow at Robeson Memorial Park in Lumberton, NC.
