William "Bill" Thomas Jones, age 62, of Lumberton, formerly of Fairmont, went home to be with his Eternal Father on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Hospital. He was born on August 25, 1951, the son of the late Alfred and Mollie Jones. He was formerly employed as a mechanic for LOF Glass. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry A. Jones, of Fairmont. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janice Roberts Jones, of the home; his daughter Nicole Palmer and husband, Eric, of Pensacola, FL; his son, Matthew, of the home, and special friend Jessica Davis; two grand-dogs, Shiloh and Jake; two sisters, Susan Cooke and husband, Jerry, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Patsy Baker and husband, Tom, of Conway, SC; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Vestal and husband, Larry, of Kernersville, NC, and Rachel Russell and husband, James, of Lumberton; a brother-in-law, Wilbur Roberts and wife, Linda, of Lumberton; along with many special nieces and nephews and friends throughout his life.
