William Horace Herring, 99, of Lumberton, died on Thursday, April 6th in Harborview Hospice Center of Lumberton.

William is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Misher Herring; his wife Beulah Mae Little, and two sisters, Margaret Caulder and Mildred Lundy.

He is survived by one son, William Herring and wife Jessie of Lumberton; three daughters, Judy Benton and husband William, Dale Bailey, and Shirley Dew, all of Lumberton as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will a graveside service held on Monday, April 10th at 11:00 am at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
