William O'Neil Harris, age 56, of Lumberton, NC died at his home on Friday, October 20, 2017.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on January 3, 1961 to the late Bluford Henry Harris, and Ella Jean Oliver Harris.  He worked in textiles, was a volunteer with the Auxiliary Police Department of Lumberton, and the Northwoods Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Mary Frances Harris.

Mr. Harris is survived by his mother, Jean O. Harris of the home; a brother, Stevan Harris of Lumberton; sisters, Amelia Harris of Ivanhoe and Jean Myers of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and brother by choice, Ronnie Rabon of Charlotte, NC.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Dr. Herbert Lowery officiating.
