Mr. William Henry Hardin, age 83, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 15, 1938 to the late Gus Hardin and the late Lillie Mae Speights Hardin. He was formerly employed with the City of Lumberton for many years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Rudolph Hardin; a sister, Carrie Mae Tilley; and two nieces, JoAnn McMillian and Heather Tilley.

He is survived by three brothers, Frank June Hardin of New Bern, NC and James Hardin and Wayne Hardin, both of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Shirley Miller of the home; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Tim Holden officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
