William "Billy" Dalton Griffin, age 52 of Fairmont passed away September 4, 2017 in Atlanta, GA.

Funeral services will be Sunday September 10, 2017 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Visitation will follow the service at the home.

Burial will be private.

He was born December 8, 1964 in Moore County.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Bibey Griffin and paternal grandfather Joe Ecil Griffin, Sr.

He is survived by his father Joe Ecil Griffin Jr. of Fairmont; one brother, Robert Lee "Bobby" Griffin (Lisa) of Rowland; two sisters, Jackie Elizabeth "Beth" Griffin of Florence, SC, and C. Melissa Griffin of Lumberton; maternal grandmother, Hilda Griffin of Fairmont; one half-sister, Tonya Carr of Ellenwood, GA; four nieces, one nephew and his faithful pet and beloved companion, "Ozzy".
