William Gregory "Greg" Ivey, age 62, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 19, 1962 to the late William Dale Ivey and the late Margaret Louise Sellers Ivey.

In Greg's later years, he made a commitment to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was quick to share his faith with everyone,  anywhere, anytime. He recently made the comment, that becoming a member of the East Lumberton Church of God was the proudest day of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed building replicas of churches, crosses and barns. His creations were proudly on display in the halls and common areas where he lived. His handmade gifts will be treasured by all who received them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Randy Spillman.

Greg is survived by his children, Ashley "A.J." Johnson, Erica Ivey, Tasha Ivey, Cody Ivey, Braxton Ivey, Joshua "J.D." Ivey and Skyler Ivey; his siblings, Teresa Johnson, David "Al" Ivey (Andrea) and Jeff Ivey (Theresa), all of Lumberton; six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00AM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating.  A time of visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
