Mr. William Carrell Gay, III, age 24, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013. He was born in Robeson County on November 19, 1988. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William N. Rhyne; his paternal grandparents, William C. Gay and Marie Lewis Gay and his brother-in-law, Allen Hair. Mr. Gay is survived by his parents, William C. Gay, Jr. and LaDonna Gay, of the home; a sister, Ivy Britt Hair of Lumberton; his maternal grandmother, Maxine Rhyne of Lumberton; two nephews, A.J. and Jordan Hair; several special aunts and uncles, cousins, and many, many good friends. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
