William Michael Flantos, age 44, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was born on August 7, 1979 in Robeson County, NC to William Howard Flantos and Sharon Kinlaw.

Michael was predeceased by his grandparents: Betty & Joseph Crain, George Flantos, and Pete & Mary Kinlaw.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sister, Kelly Oxendine (Mike) and their daughter, Kendra (Alan), and his great-niece, Kalidy; his brother, William Baker (Kimberly) and their children: Colin, Kylie, and Jenna; and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Visitation will follow the memorial service from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

Because Michael loved animals, his family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Robeson County Animal Shelter, 255 Landfill Road, St. Pauls, NC 28384.
