William Thomas Deaver, age 76, of Bladenboro, formerly of Orrum, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.  He was born in Bladen County, NC to the late Henry and Lorraine Deaver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sue Downing Deaver.

Mr. Deaver is survived by his son, Gene Downing (Sally) of Lumberton; two granddaughters, Courtney Arvai (Alex) and Summer Taylor (Hank) and two great-grandsons, Braxton Doucet and Rhett Taylor.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 1:00PM at Taylor Family Cemetery, 831 Beulah Church Road, Lumberton with Rev. Cole Dellinger officiating.
