Mr. William Bailey Davis, Jr., age 83, of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was born in Craven County, NC on April 11, 1928 to the late William Bailey Davis, Sr. and the late Mattie Shrill Davis. He was a tow truck driver for 45 years and a member of Sherwood Presbyterian Church in Gray??s Creek, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Russell Davis and Phillip Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Velma Bryan Davis, of the home; one son, Don Davis of Williamsburg, VA; two brothers, George Davis and Paul Davis, both of Fayetteville, NC and one sister, Dot Matthews of Hope Mills, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, Lumberton. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 10:00-11:00AM.
