William Karey Barnes' Obituary
Mr. William Karey Barnes, age 67, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018, in Galivants Ferry, SC.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont with Bishop Stuart Jacobs officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes was born April 25, 1951 in Robeson County.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorthy Herring Grimsley; his stepmother, Agnes Barnes; and one brother, Ricky Lyn Barnes.
He is survived by his father, Herman Pete Barnes of Fairmont; one daughter, Dorrie Williams (Alan) of Galivants Ferry, SC; two brothers: Pat Barnes (Faye) of Orrum and Michael Barnes of Fairmont; one sister, Alaine Barnes Deal of Bracey, VA; one step-brother, Jerry Stubbs (Jennifer), and two step sisters: Vickie Stubbs and Shelia Lee (Gerald), all of Lumberton; one sister-in-law, Joyce Barnes of Lumberton; a special friend, Peggy Bass of Fairmont; and two grandchildren: Ty Williams and Brantley Williams.
