Wilfredo Serrano, Sr., age 68, of Fairmont, NC, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Wilfredo was born in Chicago, IL on May 26, 1956 to the late Celestino Serrano, Sr. and Milagros Banano Serrano. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by grandson, Wilfredo Serrano III, and brothers, Boanelje "John" Serrano and Celestino Serrano, Jr.

Wilfredo retired after 22 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and watching wrestling on TV. Wilfredo loved fixing and repairing stuff.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Hammond Serrano of the home; daughters, Linda Seranno and Amanda Serrano; sons, Wilfredo Serrano, Jr. and Anthony Joseph Serrano and wife Michelle; grandchildren: Amanda, Justina, Tasia, Charles, Deezire, Ashley, Ciara, T'Ana, Logan, Cheyenne, Diona, Kiara, Bekka, and Anthony, Jr.; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret McBride and husband Tom; brothers, Celestino Serrano, Jr.; and sister-in-law; Dianna Serrano.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.
