Mr. Wendell Albert Britt, age 69, of 3727 Old Stage Rd. Fairmont passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held Sunday February 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Henry Mizzell officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday February 8, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born April 2, 1944. He is survived by his wife, Peggy M. Britt of the home; his mother-in-law Mary Nettie McCormick of Fairmont, NC; two sons, Wendell Glenn Britt and wife Lori and Jerry Neal Britt, all of Fairmont; three sisters, Betsy Jean Richardson of Bladenboro, NC, Peggy Straughn of Bladenboro, NC, and Mary Ann Piper of Orrum, NC; two grandchildren, Jamie Hunt and Justin Britt; and one great-grandchild.
