Wanda Meryle Lewis Rogers, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, died Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Community Hospice in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Quincey Lewis and Bessie Dudney Lewis; her husband, John Claussen Rogers, Jr.; a brother, Jerry Lewis; and a sister, Alfrieda Turner.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Rogers (Lisa) of West Jefferson, NC; a daughter, Mitzi Powers (Jimmy D.) of Lumberton; a sister, Jean Beck of Colorado; two grandchildren, Amy Powers (Billy) and Joey Powers (Caitlyn); and two great-grandchildren, Maddie Powers and Waverly Powers.

A visitation will take place prior to the service on Thursday May 13, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC. Following the service, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Eric Cain officiating.
