Mrs. Wanda Prevatte Bodiford, age 60, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.  She was born on May 21, 1959 in Robeson County, NC to the late Preston W. and Grace Bullock Prevatte.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Steven Bodiford, of the home and her son, Kent Bodiford, of Lumberton.

Wanda graduated with a business degree from UNC Pembroke.  After she graduated, she worked as an office manager for many years, mainly at Lumberton Medical Clinic for 22 years.  She was highly respected in the medical community and loved by her coworkers.  She was a member of the Raft Swamp Baptist Church; where she enjoyed singing in the choir and creating newsletters for all church members to enjoy.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 10:30AM-12:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5 ^th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Hall officiating.  Burial will follow at Raft Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.
