Mr. Walter Steve Sellers, age 56, of Lumberton, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Robeson County on September 11, 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Laura Sellers; his wife, Mary L. Sellers and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Sellers is survived by one son, Michael Shon Henderson and wife, Laurdes of Lumberton; one daughter, Lisa Middlesworth and husband, Buddy of Lawrenceville, GA; one brothers, Junior Sellers of Hamlet, NC; three sisters, Shirley Clewis and husband, Howard of Lumberton, Martha Ward and husband, Junior of Lumberton and Gladys Webb of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Jessica Middlesworth and Trey Middlesworth; one great-grandchild, Aiden Arroyo and numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton and other times at: 1283 Norment Road, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00AM at East Lumberton Church of God with Rev. Bruce Brumfield and Rev. L.F. Latchell officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
