Mr. Walter Belesta Munns, Jr., age 90, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He was born in Wake County, NC on April 12, 1930 to the late Walter Belesta Munns, Sr. and the late Mattie Butler Munns. He retired from the advertising department of The Robesonian .

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Lewter Munns, and three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his sons, Walter Louis Munns and wife Vicky of Anderson, SC and Chris L. Munns and fiancée Debbie Leach of Lumberton, NC; three grandchildren: Lauren, Kristen, and Christina; and two great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
