Wallace (Moon Man) Jacobs 65, of Fairmont, passed away Monday August 10, 2020. Wallace was born June 29, 1955 in Robeson County. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Vashtie Oxendine Jacobs and a sister, Doris Jacobs Maynor.

Wallace was a wonderful carpenter who loved doing home improvements and was known throughout the County for his work. Wallace also enjoyed gardening and selling produce. He will be truly missed by a special friend John Hunt of Lumberton and a host of other friends.

He is survived by his Father Clifton Jacobs of Fairmont; his wife of forty-three years, Anita Kay Jacobs of the Home; two children, Jacqueline Jacobs and Joshua Jacobs (Mary) of Fairmont; four brothers, Clifton Jacobs Jr. (Jean) of Maxton, Ricky Jacobs of Fairmont, Jeff Jacobs (Tammy) of Pembroke, and Gerald Jacobs of Fairmont; one sister, Lena Jacobs Lowry (Vergil) of Pembroke, and a niece he considered a sister, Nicky Jacobs Bullard (Garret) of Pembroke; one granddaughter, Amee Warwick Gibson (Tyler) of Lumberton; three grandsons, Zachary Jacobs, Garrison Jacobs, and Jacob Jacobs, all of Fairmont; two great-grands, Allie Kate Gibson and Mason Tyler Gibson both of Lumberton, and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and family.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11AM at Bullard Family Cemetery with Rev. Rob Oxendine and Rev. Ricky Burnette officiating.
