Wade "Dickie" Edward Clark, Jr., 72, of Fairmont, was born on March 4 1952, in Robeson
County. He died peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, surrounded by family.

Dickie was preceded in death by his wife Margie Cassidy Clark; his parents Wade and Dorothy
Clark; a sister Diantha Clark-Lockley; two brothers Gary Clark and Johnny Clark; two step-sons,
Jimmy Cassidy and Frankie Cassidy; aunt Wanda Locklear; three nephews Fredrick Maynor,
Joshua Brooks and Chad Clark: and one niece Brittany Fowler; two brother in laws Ricky
Brooks and Kenny Fowler.

He is survived by his siblings, Helen Maynor (Freddie), Debbie Fowler, Terry Clark (Debbie) all
of Fairmont; Linda Jacobs of Lumberton; June Brooks of Apex; two uncles, H.G. Locklear
(Rose), and Ricky Locklear of Fairmont; a special cousin James Jacobs (Ethel) of Lumberton;
15 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews and 14 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Dickie was always the life of the party and had such a contagious smile. He enjoyed watching
the Carolina Tar Heels, Nascar racing, and spending time with his family. He was a graduate
from Pembroke High School; spent most of his younger years working the family farm; and then
later went into the textile and manufacturing Industry. He married the love of his life, Margie and
they spent many happy years in the Ellerbe community with family. For the last 10 years
Woodhaven staff and residents became a second family to him. His favorite pastimes were
playing games on his tablet, talking with family, keeping up with everyone through Facebook,
and attending worship services. He never met a stranger and everyone complimented his
genuine spirit. He lived to love and loved to live.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm - until 8:00 pm at Floyd Funeral Services Inc. 1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Reedy Branch Baptist Church 3047 E. McDonald Rd. Fairmont, NC.

Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens 774 Moss Neck Rd. Lumberton, NC.
