Mrs. Vivian Louise Lamb Greenwood, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Elizabethtown Health & Rehab Center. She was born June 18, 1941 to the late Randall Murdoch Lamb and the late Annie Tyler Lamb.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Greenwood; her daughter, Jodie Gurganus; her brothers: Rufus Lamb, Wadis Lamb, Marcus Lamb, Hollis Lamb, Buddy Lamb, Richard Lamb, and Horace Lamb; and her sisters: Nora Lamb, Ruth Lamb, Rachel Brisson, Ruby Davis, Carol Spencer, Ernestine Green, Martha Singleton, and Betty Isom.

She is survived by her son, Philip Steffes and spouse, Hildegardo Avila Carranza, of Charlotte, NC; her daughters,: Rebecca Roberts and husband Colon of Tar Heel, NC, Sandra Read and husband Kevin of Fayetteville, NC, Jamie Parker of Myrtle Beach, SC, Karol Sykes of Lumberton, NC, and Lisa Steffes of Lumberton, NC; her sisters, Edna Benton of Lumberton, NC, and Dorothy Simmons and husband James of Highpoint, NC; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at East Lumberton Church of God, 100 Dresden Avenue in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating.

Following the service at East Lumberton Church of God, a committal service will be held at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 400 W. 24th Street, Lumberton, NC, 28358.
