Virginia Davis' Obituary
Virginia Parnell Davis, age 88, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Lumberton Health & Rehab Center. She was born May 8, 1929 in Robeson County to the late Irvin Parnell and the late Caroline Wilson Parnell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Asbury Davis; and one brother, Kirk Parnell.
She is survived by her son, William Davis of Lumberton; two daughters: Dianne Durden of St. Pauls and Linda West of Durham; three grandchildren: Paul Davis, Melissa Durden, and Frank Durden; and one brother, Rev. Buck Parnell of Clarkton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery with Rev. David Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends briefly at the graveside following the service.
