Virginia Roberta Bullock Britt, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Rochelle and Dulah Mae Bullock; a daughter, Melanie Willoughby; two brothers, Holmes Bullock and Bruce Bullock; and five sisters: Odessa Hayes, Elise Grimsley, Katie Rich, Marjorie Hester, and Bernice Sanderson.

She is survived by her husband, Elton Britt of the home; her children: Pam Green (Jimmy), Daril Britt, Teddy Britt (Ginger), and Ronnie Britt (Rena); a brother, Lester Bullock (Mary) of Lumberton, NC; three sisters: Phyllis Allen (George) of Lumberton, NC,  Carmelita Barnes of Lumberton, NC, and Linda Roper (Katherine) of Arizona; her grandchildren: Eric Willoughby (Katie), Will Willoughby, Kim Jones (Tim), Tracey Jones (Tadd), Jimmi-Lyn Lewis (Justin), Amanda Britt, Travis Britt, Justin Britt, Alex Britt, Caitlan Britt, Brent Montano, and Larry Dale Cox; and eight great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Singletary Baptist Church in Lumberton. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
