Mr. Victor Stephand Burge, age 87, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, May 08, 2015, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Sampson County on June 5, 1927 to the late Bynum Brady Burge and the late Katie Lee Herring Burge. Mr. Burge was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hula Smith Burge; one brother, Billy Dixie Burge; and one sister, Helon Burge Knighton. He is survived by one son, Steve Burge and wife, Bonnie, of Evergreen, NC; one daughter, Vickie Burge of Fayetteville, NC; a grandson, Steven M. Burge II and wife, Brandy, and their children, Victoria M. Burge and Case M. Burge. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Dr. Lynn Bullock officiating.
