Vernon Bullock, 70, of Lumberton, NC, died Sunday, April 3, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 18, 1951 to the late Meredith William Bullock and the late Dollie Mae Ivey Bullock. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and drag racing.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his lifelong companion, Patsy Mayers of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Melissa Ryals (Mark) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; three grandchildren: Amber Irvin, Cody Faircloth, and Hunter Allen; five great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Declan, Kailey, Taylor, and Savana; two brothers, Wayne Bullock and Donald Bullock, both of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Elsie Thorp of Chocowinity, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
