Miss Vera Hunt, age 96, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her daughter's home in Hickory, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church at 3:00PM with Revs. Hilton Woodell and Chester Chavis officiating.

Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday night, December 22, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Miss Vera was born May 18, 1922 in Robeson County to the late Spurgeon Hunt and Lonnie Jacobs Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her siblings.

She is survived by a daughter Alice H. Bennett and husband Harold of Hickory, NC; four grandchildren, Dennis and David Pait, Kevin Stevens and Latisha Flowers; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
