Mr. Vaughn "Von" Edward Willoughby, age 89, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Raeford, NC. He was born in Robeson County on May 12, 1926 to the late Luther & Minnie Monroe Willoughby. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Nance Willoughby. He is survived by two sons: Clinton Willoughby and Mitchell Willoughby, both of Lumberton; five daughters: Betty Jo Conner of Barnesville, Melba Faye Cox, Judy Libby, Carol Mishue, and Wanda Sue Willoughby, all of Lumberton; two sisters: Frances Patawaran and Naomi Steen, both of Fayetteville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Beulah Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
