Treyvon "TJ" Mitchell, son of the late Teledio Pittman of Fairmont, NC and Crystal McKenzie of Lumberton, NC was born on November 14, 2001, in Robeson County, NC. He was called home to glory on Friday, November 26, 2021.

Treyvon attended Lumberton Senior High School. He loved playing video games, soccer, basketball, and he loved working in construction. He was a loving son, fiancé, father, and big brother.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother and stepfather, Crystal & Anthony McKenzie of Lumberton, NC; his fiancée, Taleia Lesane of Lumberton, NC; a son, Kaysen Treyvon Mitchell of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Cae'leia Mitchell and A'norah Mitchell, both of Lumberton, NC; three sisters: Lagayle McKenzie and Fancy McKenzie, both of Lumberton, NC and Ta'Nyah Pittman of Fairmont, NC; his maternal grandparents, Barbara Mitchell of Lumberton, NC and Bobby Mitchell of Maxton, NC; his paternal grandparents, Mary Swan of Lumberton, NC and Robert Swan of Fairmont, NC; and a host of special aunts, uncles, stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
