Mr. Trenton Parker, age 88 of Fairmont passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at McLeod Hospital in Dillon, SC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Harley Townsend and Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Mr. Parker was born July 1, 1926 in Orrum, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Parker and Emmie Sutton Parker; one grandson, Chris Parker and two sisters, Essie Price and Mabel Faulk. He is survived by the love of his life for 65 years Lucy Ivey Parker of the home; one daughter, Jennie Lee and husband Jimmy of Fairmont; four sons, Michael Parker and fiance Christine Butler, Ricky Parker and wife Tempe, Tommy Parker, and Roger Parker and wife Ann, all of Fairmont; one brother, James Parker of Burlington, NC; one sister, Peggy Bullock of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Amanda Dyches and husband Nick of Clarksville, TN, Whitney Maher and husband Ben of Wilmington, NC, and Samantha Bruce and husband Greg of Fairmont, Derrick Lee and wife Paige of Lumberton, Justin Parker and Trevor Lee, both of Fairmont; and one great-grand daughter, Alyssa Bruce.
