Trent Oxendine, age 70, of Lumberton, went to join his Heavenly Savior on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 23, 1955.  He was a longtime employee at Alamac Knitting in Lumberton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Oxendine and Clara Mae Oxendine; two brothers, Ben Oxendine and Timmy Oxendine and one sister, Betty Oxendine.

He leaves many memories to cherish with his wife, Debra Oxendine; his children, Kelly Lynn Edwards of Montana and Mark Joseph Britt of Raleigh; one brother, Robert Oxendine (Delores) of Rowland; five sisters, Ruthie Ammons (Bob) of Pembroke, Wanda "Cotton" Baker (John) of Lumberton, Anita Oxendine of Pembroke and Jeanette Oxendine and Pat Richardson, both of Lumberton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.  He also shared a special love with his extended family, Ella Jacobs, Nathaniel Jacobs and Shekinah Jacobs, all of Lumberton.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2025 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Sanford Chavis and Pastor Ella Jacobs officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
