Tonya Goode Hewitt, age 57, of Orrum, NC, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020, at her parents' home in Barnesville, NC. She was born in Harnett County, NC on August 23, 1962 to Billy & Josephine Goode.

Along with her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Melissa Goode and Stephanie Ivey (Tony); four children: Jessica Parker Hammonds (Mark), Charles David Griggs, Jr., Starla Schultz (Kristopher), and Lisa Griggs (Laney Honeycutt); and ten grandchildren: Christin Parker, Lexi Parker, Michael Griggs, Angel Griggs, Lance Weeks, Marissa Weeks, Khloe Schultz, Kaleb Schultz, Derek Honeycutt, and Dermont Honeycutt.

She was a member of Barnesville Baptist Church in Barnesville, NC and worked at Elvington Drug in Cerro Gordo, NC. Tonya went to high school at Orrum High School and graduated in Washington State.

Tonya loved to go shopping with her mother and going out to eat with her parents. She also loved to crochet and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved very much.

A drive-in memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Barnesville Baptist Church, 155 Barnesville Church Road in Orrum, NC.
