Tonya Lynn Britt Howell, age 45, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  She was born in Troy, NC on February 12, 1972 to Lawrence and Jacqueline Nobles Britt.   She worked at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Charles Howell.

Mrs. Howell is survived by her parents; her husband, Johnny Howell of the home; sons, C.J Howell and Adam Howell both of Asheville; mother-in-law, Myra Howell of Lumberton; a sister, Libby Britt Davis (Rodney) of Lumberton; beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends; and lifelong friends, Pam Ward Gill and Elizabeth Wright.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Powers and Rev. David McClellan officiating.  A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 PM in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers memorials are encouraged to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
