Toby Ann Burleson, age 68, of Lumberton, NC died at Southeastern Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. She was born in Stanley County on March 7, 1941 to Randall Burleson and Fannie Poplin Burleson.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Dr. William R. Burleson and wife, Norma of Lumberton; an aunt, Geneva Smith and husband, Jack of Charlotte, NC; one niece, Brooke Burleson of Lumberton, NC; and four nephews, William Scott Burleson of Holly Springs, NC, Douglas C. Burleson of Pittsboro, NC, Jeffrey N. Burleson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lance Burleson of Greenville, NC.

A Graveside Service will be held at Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. At time for visitation will follow the graveside service.
