Mrs. Tina Michelle Goolsby, of Lumberton, NC, departed this life on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, completing her journey of 53 years.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Locklear.

Tina, lovingly known as "Sunshine" by her devoted husband, had a radiant presence that brightened every room she entered. She was known for speaking her mind with honesty and strength, a quality that endeared her to those who knew her best. Her joy for life was contagious, and she made it her mission to bring happiness to everyone around her. Tina had a deep love for having fun, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and spending time at the beach. She also had a passion for cooking and cherished the moments spent with her close friends. Tina's warmth and vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Goolsby; two brothers, Kenny Ray Oxendine (Kathleen) and Ritchie Locklear (Lisa); and four sisters, Onita Oxendine (Danny), Lisa Edwards (Wayne), Wanda Simpson (Clinton "Stimmie"), and Latisha Locklear. She is also survived by her stepson, Jordan Goolsby (Dakota); two stepdaughters, Tina Sampson and Tiffany Locklear (Daniel); a special great-niece, Alana Hunt "Peanut"; and her best friend, Danette Scott. Tina also had nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family, all of whom will cherish her
memory.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Gerald Goolsby and Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
