Mr. Thomas Eugene Shockley, age 82, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at McLeod Hospital of Dillon, SC

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Services.

Mr. Shockley was born July 23, 1935 in Columbus County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Giles Shockley and Minnie Leuallan Shockley; three brothers, Rufus, Charles and Hudson Shockley;four sisters, Carilee S. Nipper, Geraldine S. Bullard and Marie S. Bullard and Pauline S. Planter

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Smith and husband Terry, of Fairmont; one sister, Betty Ann Hill of Holden Beach, NC; and other extended family members.
