Thomas Jacobs, age 77, of Fairmont took his journey to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

He was born May 10, 1943 in Robeson County to the late Osroe Jacobs and Estella Hunt Jacobs. He worked many years with Fleetwood Homes and with the County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Marshall, Harold, James Spurgeon, and Jessie Jacobs; two sisters, Dorothy Scott and Janet "Jeanette" Jones; and one grandson, Nakolma DaKotahs Hunt.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Sally Chavis Jacobs of the home; two sons, Patrick Jacobs of Fairmont and Marcus Jacobs and wife Erica Thompson of Conway, SC; two daughters, Vivian Locklear of Lumberton and Vickie Hunt and husband James Earl of Fairmont; two brothers, Osroe Jacobs, Jr. of Gastonia, NC, and Kirk Jacobs and wife Earlene of Lumberton, NC; four sisters, Darnella Turner of Fairmont, NC, Mona Hunt and husband D.C. of Lumberton, Elsie Pait of High Point, NC, and Rosie Ann Lee and husband Charles Raeford, NC; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a great host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 3:00PM at the Chavis Family Cemetery across from Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
